Exhibitors

In-Woods Expo 2011 invites equipment dealers to demonstrate their best and latest on a 300-acre forested showcase with exhibit sites suitable for thinning as well as final harvest. Weyerhaeuser foresters have worked with crews to prepare the Expo landscape, which is comprised of thinned and unthinned pine plantations including sites with significant underbrush and sapling growth. Most exhibit sites slope away from the access road (sometimes steeply), allowing attendees a great view of equipment demos.
The May 19-21 dates selected are typically ideal in terms of Arkansas weather and temperatures, and the abundance of shale will ensureĀ solid operating base, even if the site experiences heavy pre-Expo rains.
In-Woods Expo 2011 features three basic types of exhibits:
Active Demos – suitable for all types of mobile and stationary harvesting and processing equipment on sites from 2-to-16 acres each
Static Demos – (powered or non-powered) – suitable for live or static demonstrations of stationary equipment on a landing where no forest is required with sites sized 50 x 50 or 100 x 100 feet. These are ideal for truck scales, portable sawmills, tire-changing equipment, site prep equipment, firewood processors, supplies, and truck scales, among others.
Static Booths – (together in one or more canopied areas) – suitable for display of parts, models, posters, literature, supplies, etc. Beyond power for lighting, computers or video monitors, no powered operations or live demos are permitted in these booths. Exhibit space is 10 x 10 feet.
